Firm Overview

The law firm of Dysart & Tabary, L.L.P. was founded in 1986 and is located across from the historic St. Bernard Parish Courthouse in Chalmette, Louisiana. The firm consists of four attorneys who provide a broad range of legal services to both business and individual clients throughout the metropolitan New Orleans area and specifically in St. Bernard and Plaquemines Parishes.

The firm engages in the representation of businesses and insurance companies in the defense of personal injury claims, class actions suits, medical malpractice claims and contractual disputes. Additionally, advice and representation is provided to individuals in the areas of family law, estate planning, criminal law, bankruptcy and personal injury law.

As a small town practice, Dysart & Tabary, L.L.P. must meet the needs of its community. As such, the firm has an "open door" policy providing immediate service in a large variety of fields. The attorneys are qualified and admitted to practice in every level of the state court system as well as the United States Eastern District and Fifth Circuit Court of Appeal.

Our attorneys possess high academic credentials from a cross section of the state's law schools including Loyola, Tulane, Louisiana State University and Southern University. We are tied to the community of St. Bernard, however, each being life long residents of the area. Our attorneys are committed to and serve positions in local government, the parish school board, volunteer organizations and the local, as well as, state bar associations.
